SentinelOPS Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about SentinelOPS, the enterprise security operations platform built by Iron Legionnaire Protective Services.

What is SentinelOPS?
SentinelOPS is an enterprise security operations platform that helps security companies manage patrols, guard tours, incident reports, daily activity reports, scheduling, dispatch, analytics, and client communications from a single cloud-based system.
Who is SentinelOPS built for?
SentinelOPS is built for security companies, corporate security teams, schools, hospitals, churches, executive protection details, and security operations centers. It scales from small guard companies to large multi-site enterprises.
Does SentinelOPS work offline?
Yes. SentinelOPS includes a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works fully offline. Security officers can scan checkpoints, write reports, and log activity without internet access. All data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
What devices does SentinelOPS support?
SentinelOPS works on desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones. It can be installed as a PWA on iOS and Android devices. The platform is responsive and adapts to any screen size.
How does guard tour verification work?
SentinelOPS supports multiple checkpoint verification methods including QR codes, NFC tags, GPS location, Bluetooth beacons, and manual verification. Officers scan or verify checkpoints during patrols, and the system records the time, location, and verification method.
Can reports be edited after submission?
Reports can be revised through a tracked revision system, but the original submission is preserved permanently. All changes are logged to an immutable audit trail with timestamps and user identification. Nothing is ever truly deleted.
Is SentinelOPS secure?
SentinelOPS uses multi-tenant architecture with database-level tenant isolation, role-based access control (RBAC), immutable audit logging with SHA-256 hash chains, and encrypted data transmission. The platform is built to the standards of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and other frameworks.
What is the forensic audit log?
Every action in SentinelOPS is recorded to an immutable, hash-chained ledger. This means every patrol scan, report submission, status change, and user action is permanently recorded and cannot be altered. This provides legal-grade evidence for courts, audits, and compliance.
Does SentinelOPS offer a free trial?
Yes, SentinelOPS offers a 14-day free trial. Billing information is required at signup. After the trial, pricing is based on officer licenses and selected add-on modules.
How is SentinelOPS priced?
SentinelOPS is priced per officer license per month. Additional sites and add-on modules (Executive Protection, School Security, Investigation, Drone Operations, Client Portal, HR Management) are available as add-ons. Volume discounts are available with annual billing.
Can clients view their security reports?
Yes. The Client Portal add-on allows clients to securely view reports, incident notifications, patrol logs, and analytics for their sites in real time.
Does SentinelOPS integrate with other systems?
