"We met at the steel mill. Michael went into power line work first. I followed. When I was ready to quit climbing school, I called him. He said, 'If I can do it, you can do it.' That one sentence carried me through. He empowers people. He supports them, advocates for them, makes decisions that set them up to make a difference in their own communities. That's what he did for me. Now I'm building something that does the same thing. Same words still ring true. If he can do it, I can do it. This is me paying homage to the man who showed me what was possible before I ever saw it myself."
